They come from very different backgrounds but his loyalty, kindness, determination, and fierce love for his siblings draws her to him.
But I think my favorite part was how much both of them cared about the kids. Zach was also a nice surprise and we are loving him already so we are so looking forward to his story next. That made it too complicated for me to keep up. These type people are content with how they live and enjoy getting high and drunk on a regular bases. However, I took two stars away because first of all I didnt like trying to get to know 1000 characters.
There is so much more to women, African American women in particular. I highly recommend this book you will not be disappointed!! Or will they be torn apart based on circumstances? Georgia is wanting more than what her life has always been. It was packed full of content that keeps you gripped. Tripp and Georgia come from completely different backgrounds.
I stumbled across this book and sat on the floor in the fiction aisle and read the entire book. I can't tell you how disgusting that makes me feel. One that is eye-opening and shows sometimes money isn't everything and love wins always. I feel like young girls should read this because it's relatable and you can learn what route not to take. Think about the women in your family before you are so quick to degrade. Once I picked up Hood Rat, I couldn't put it down, any chance I got I was reading.

Georgia is very easy to relate to, which I feel makes her romance with Tripp more real as well.
I've read this author's work before this but since then I've been an avid reader of his. A rich girl trying to save the world. Far as I'm concerned it's exactly what they deserved though a few were very excessive. Their first meeting does not go so good, but they soon start to give in to their attraction towards each other because they start to see each other in a different light.
She lives her life playing on men's hearts as well as their pockets. Georgia is trying her best to fit into a world that is completely foreign to her in the same city she grew up in. Although Yoshi was on her shit, her character sat much better with me than the rest. I approached this book thinking it would be that version with some additional chapters tacked on at the end. Prepare yourself to fall in love with Tripp and Georgia all over again. I love Tripp and Georgia individually but love them more together.
